UX Designer

Conducting user research to understand the needs, goals, and preferences of government employees and citizens who use our digital products and services

Creating user personas, user journeys, wireframes, and prototypes that effectively communicate design ideas and concepts to stakeholders

Collaborating with other designers, developers, and project managers to ensure that design solutions are aligned with project requirements and timelines

Conducting usability testing and gathering feedback from users to continuously improve the user experience

Supporting the development of design processes, workflows, and standards that enable efficient and effective design operations

Staying up-to-date with the latest design trends, tools, and techniques, and sharing knowledge with the team to promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement

Other duties and responsibilities as trained and qualified to perform.

Bachelor's degree in a related field, plus at least four (4) years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience

Experience in UX design, preferably in a federal consulting or government environment

Strong portfolio that demonstrates a range of UX design skills, including user research, wireframing, prototyping, and visual design

Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe Creative Suite

Understanding of human-centered design principles and methodologies

Familiarity with accessibility and Section 508 compliance guidelines is a plus

Must be able to pass and maintain a Public Trust security clearance

Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
