UX/UI Designer

Create high-quality designs that will help the end-user realize greater value from their web or mobile experience

Support user experience research and testing: interview live users of the client’s website or app, help develop personas and conduct research that provides a clear understanding of how design, site architecture, and content can impact the user’s experience

Meet project goals and deadlines including being a part of regular meetings and collaborating with the rest of the team

Have knowledge of design and accessibility best practices

Assist peers by participating in ad hoc work reviews

Performs other duties as assigned that are reasonably within scope of this position.

Have a college degree or a similar degree of life experience

Have 2 years of work experience in digital product design

Be an expert using industry-standard design software like Figma, Sketch, Photoshop and Illustrator

Have experience doing UI design on multiple web and mobile projects

Have some experience with atomic design or a similar component-based approach

Understand the principles and practice of Mobile First and Responsive web design

Be a great listener and communicator (oral and written) to effectively collaborate with clients, end-users and team members.

Be naturally curious and love problem-solving

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop stable working relationships.

Enjoy working together with clients, analysts, and developers to bring a design to life

Have a positive attitude and an inspiring work ethic

Be able to think commercially and translate business goals into your work product

Be pleasant to work with and a team player
