UI/UX Designer

Alcumus helps organisations of all sizes anticipate, manage and avoid risks that endanger their people, their operations and our planet. We provide an integrated approach to managing Health, Safety and ESG across industries, locations, contractor and supplier networks.

Collaborate with UX/UI designers to produce high-fidelity mockups from basic wireframes
Convert briefs into appealing, highly usable interfaces
Present high-fidelity mock-ups for review/iteration/approval
Develop understanding of the end users of the website/application through primary (user interviews, traffic data) and secondary research
Utilize customer data and research to make informed design decisions
Take user needs, customer personas and branding protocols into account when designing
Own and maintain style libraries to continuously keep appearance of products cohesive and up to date
Build and maintain complex components within our style libraries
Provide feedback for software requirements based on accessibility and best practices
Stay up to date with knowledge and technology related to UI design trends.

Bachelor’s degree in a related field
5+ years professional experience in UX/UI design
Strong portfolio showcasing nested components, live prototyping and creating cohesive designs
Experience with Figma, Miro, Maze and/or other prototyping tools
Experience building and maintaining style libraries and complex components
Familiarity with Google’s Material Design system
Excellent time-management, multi-tasking, and written/oral communication skills
