Wheely is not a traditional ride-hailing company. We are building a platform with user privacy at its core while successfully scaling a five-star service to millions of rides across multiple cities.
Working as a self-directed member of a cross-functional team, designing intuitive and elegant solutions to enhance the customer experience
Leading the end-to-end design process from ideation to production
Supporting product managers in setting initiatives, identifying growth opportunities, and defining a product roadmap
Writing clear and concise UX copy that is mindful of the context
Influencing our design systems to improve product quality and consistency.
3+ years of product design experience with a focus on mobile platforms
Experience designing complex features, attention to detail, and ability to translate customer needs into actionable items
Capable of seeing the bigger picture and seeking systematic solutions to maintain consistency of UX solutions
Technical background and attention to product quality: ability to collaborate with engineers, understand technical constraints, iterate on solutions, and fine-tune the result
Excellent design skills and a clean visual sense
Experience in crafting well-balanced animations and interactions to ensure interfaces feel natural
Ability to be proactive: can move things forward, collect and assess relevant data, and prioritize initiatives
Highly communicative and self-organized: can explain, clearly articulate design rationale, and prioritize feedback to iterate rapidly.
